Nokia 770 banner on Fnac.es

This morning I was browsing on Fnac.es, just looking for gifts for these christmas, and I found that there is banner of the Nokia 770 (upper right on the image).

However, Fnac is not selling the device, just showing the banner. It seems that Nokia is beginning to spread out this new device. It is the fisrt time I see a banner, and it is being sold since some months ago.

It seems to be allready available

Please note that Nokia 770 first came out in Spain a few weeks ago on shops called “El corte ingles”.

Spain is definitely different ;o)

Yes, it was available first in “El Corte Ingles”, but not standalone, but with a wifi router and ADSL connection, with Wanadoo.

Fnac is in fact selling the n770. I bought mine on fnac.es Dec 19th. Unfortunately I got my hands on it on the 26th. As far as I’ve played with it, it’s a great device. Still have to set my dev environment and try to code some stupid app.

What PIM apps did you install? The ones from the GPE project?

I installed all the GPE applications: contacts manager, calendar and todo list. I use regularly the calendar and todo list, and they seem to work well.
